This is my academic webpage. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics, University of York. I obtained my PhD degree on mechatronics engineering from Sabanci University in Turkiye. Main research interests include:

Microrobotics
Dispersion of biological active matter
Swimming of microorganisms
Low Reynolds number flows

Research

My research is broadly on small swimming things. These include both biological and artificial swimmers. I am mainly interested in the fluid mechanical aspects, yet there are always some elements from different disciplines added in. Theory and experiments complement each other for a holistic understanding. See some examples below.
